I'm not sure if this is appropriate or not, but Sandra McCauley joined the LM_NET a few months ago. She is a librarian for two elementary schools in Ansbach, Germany, operated by the Department of Defense Dependents Schools. Saturday morning, June 3, she suffered a very serious heart attack. Thanks to quick acting friends and a new state of the art hospital here, she survived and seems to be recovering well. She has two teenage daughters and a husband here in Germany, but all the rest of her family is in the states. She is intensive care in a hospital in Nuremberg, Germany, and visits from from friends and family are limited to a few minutes. The rest of her day is spent alone or with German medical personnel. I am printing the messages from LM_NET and taking them to her. Sandy reads LB_NET avidly, but she had never actively participated. Even so, she feels she kind of knows many of you who are frequent contributors. It would be a real help to her if she could get some messages of support from LM_NET members. Please send any messages to: sandram@purple.tmn.com I will print them and see that she gets them. Thanks so much, Ken Shepard, a friend
