TECH: HELP! keyboard problems

It's Friday!  BUT, suddenly my circulation computer (Follett)
*keyboard* is acting up!  My number keys won't work.  It seems to
have nothing to do with caps or number lock.  I cannot use a
number to make a menu selection anywhere.  That's fine if I can
arrow down and hit "enter" but that is not always possible.  I
have a call into Follett, but they are swamped with inventory
problems now -- and I really don't think it's a software problem.
 
Any advice!?
