                        CONTRACT POSITIONS AVAILABLE
 
The State College Area School District is seeking certified candidates
interested in serving as ELEMENTARY SCHOOL, MIDDLE SCHOOL and HIGH SCHOOL
LIBRARIANS.  The district is also seeking MEDIA/TECHNOLOGY SPECIALIST
candidates.  The positions available are contract positions and begin with
the 1995-96 school year.
 
The district seeks candidates for these positions who demonstrate a
commitment to professional growth and development, and possess a variety of
personal and professional experiences.  Academic performance will be
reviewed and considered as a significant factor in the selection process.
Strong verbal and written communications skills are a must.  A valid
Pennsylvania certification and valid Act 34 PA Criminal history background
