My favorite source is Mathematics Illustrated Dictionary by Bendick, Mc Graw Hill 1965. You just can't beat some of these good old books. New titles are often too narrow in scope or too expensive. Try 2nd hand book stores, garage sales etc. You might find this book or maybe an old comprehensive textbook on history of math ----if there's not a newer title out there.
