TARGET: Social Studies CD ROM's

I have a sum of money to spend on social studes (elementary level) and my
principal would like it to be spent on software.  I'd like to get a very
good atlas on CD-ROM; so far I have seen nothing that fits the bill.  We
have MacGlobe already; I don't think it's detailed enough. Do any of you
have atlas programs you like?  Do you have other social studies software
that you highly recommend?  I'll be glad to post a hit.
