Ideas for Fractured Fairy Tale Unit

Hi,
I am considering doing a "fractured fairy tale" unit with our 6th
graders.  Though I have a list of fractured fairy tales I would like
to hear of some ways to teach this unit, activities you have tried or
resources I could obtain to do this type of unit.  Any and all ideas
would be appreciated.
