Good news for Sanda and Debbie, and all others looking for technical help.
The new edition of our Skills Index will be out by the end of this week,
and it has been substantially revised to include the direct-connect
applications and connection tools many of us are now using.

Sanda: look in your skills index now for help with Pine. The PINE section
follows the general email section. Lost the index? Email me for help.

Debbie: hang on for a few days. The new skills index will include at
least one SlipKnot maven for you!

And to you other techies who may be reading this, why not fill out our new
skills index application? You, too, could be someone's hero....

Here comes the application - fill it in now, eh? -

            Internet Assistance for LM_NET Members

                   ** Sign Up Today! **

If you are ready to extend an electronic hand to LM_Net subscribers
who are new to the nets and looking for a bit of telecommunications
coaching, this is your chance! Just copy the following form, fill
it in, and send it back to me at <S_Lochhead@mentor.unh.edu>

Your name and skills will be recorded on the "Internet Assistance
for LM_NET Members" index, a copy of which will be sent to you upon
registration. (The index is also sent to individual LM_Net subscribers
on request, and to the entire membership 2 or 3 times each year.)
Sign up for as many or as few topics as you like, but *do* sign up;
stone soup works best when the pot is full.

LM_Net members needing help in your area(s) of expertise will
contact you with their questions; you will then follow up with
tips and sage advice <grin>.

It's nice to be needed. Register today!
