I am the library media specialist for a K-6 school with 70 students on an
island just off the coast of Alabama. The main school building (circa 1930)
houses 3 classrooms, the office and a gathering room. Another classroom and
the library are in portable buildings withing 40 feet of the main building.
Since there is no room for a computer lab and because of the vulnerable
beach location(hurricanes, salt air)I am considering a wireless network for the
library with stations in each classrooms on sturdy carts or laptops. These
mobile classroom stations could be moved to the gathering
room to serve as a small computer lab when needed.

If you have used a wireless network please let me know your experience--
advantages, disadvantages, cost, maintenance, etc.
