Dear netters: I found a great new book you might want to know about. (Needless to say, I have nothing whatever to do with the authors, publisher, etc.) The book is called _Kids, Computers, and Homework_, by Diane Kendall and Jim Lengel. It's reviewed in the latest issue of PC Magazine, page 69. The book teaches kids, parents, and anyone else who reads it, how to adapt school homework projects to the computer. It's written more for parents, but educators can really use this kind of practical information. I found out a few things I'd missed in Clarisworks and Kid Pix, which are two of my favorite programs. Anyway, I had to share this great new resource with you. It's published by Random House Electronic Publishing, and cost $16.00. I bought my copy at the local bookstore. The ISBN is 0-679-76007-5.
