HIT: Redwall series order

Thank you to all for the great response to my query about
the chronological oreder for reading the Redwall series.
The correct order is:
1. Martin the Warrior
2. Mossflower
3. Redwall
4. Mattimeo
5. Mariel of Redwall
6. Salamandastron
7. Bellmaker


However, one person reported that Brain Jacques himself stated (at
a talk she attended) that they should be read in order of
publication. But thank you so much to those who answered
- kids really want to know this!! Isn't LM_NET great????!!!!
