Well I was right to be worried about the way that E-Mail message was looking
in the Elm editor.  Most of it got overwritten and so what got posted
doesn't make much sense.  Maybe it didn't need to be said anyway.

So back to the main point.  Change is hard and any creative and useful ideas
for getting faculty members to accept and benefit from it would, I would
think, always be valuable as a topic on LM_net.  On the other hand we need
to be careful about dismissing the techniques of the past as old-fashioned.
A good teacher will use many strategies, old and new, to reach the students.
