Children's literature lovers may be interested in a new listserve.
CCBC-NET, which originates at UW-Madison's Cooperative Children's Book
Center, has been designed to encourage awareness and discussion of issues
essential to literature for children and young adults. It provides
opportunities for discussion of contemporary literature for children and
young adults, the book arts, book publishing, and intellectual freedom
issues.

Each month focuses on a specific title or a body of work by a specific
author. Past discussions have featured Sharon Creech's "Walk Two Moons,"
and titles by Margaret Mahy and Walter Dean Myers. October's discussion
focuses on "The Well" by Mildred Taylor.
