LM_NET: Library Media Networking
The school where I am media specialist uses fixed and flexible scheduling.
The first six weeks the library is on a fixed schedule. K-1 stays on a fixed
schedule all year but grades 2-5 for the next five six weeks, rotate every
three weeks between fixed and flexible scheduling. During fixed scheduling, the
students check out books during their library time. I would like to change
this. I am considering letting grades 2-5 have a fixed time all year to
check out books. This way I could use the fixed library time for skill
lessons, book talks, computer training, etc... Does anyone have any
suggestions about this? Thanks in advance.
