One of the great new "toys" we have enjoyed playing with is the "video
fusion" program that came as an "extr" with our PowerMacs- it needs video
"in" capabilities but has the kids really searching for neat segments to
add to a report/presentation format. It does take a syquest or zip drive
to store, since you're looking at a meg per second. But with video out,
we can also put these final reports (on Claris Works slide show) onto a
video cassette, eliminating the hassle of taking a computer to the
classroom with PC Viewer, etc... we are doing this with 16mg of ram and
it's not bad- we will upgrade to 32 and let you know!
