To clean monitor face use a fabric softner cloth after you have used it in
the dryer, the spongy kind. The antistatic repeals dust. Also work on
your students to use the finger nail side of there hands toward the computer
screen. Leaves less dirt if they touch the screen with the nail.

To clean the plastic outside, dry ease marker spray for white boards sprayed
onto a cloth removes most stains.

If you are working with preschoolers you can cover the keyboard lightly with
saran wrap.

I keep a spray bottle of a half and half mixture of water and fabric
softner to spray carpet areas around the computers to reduce static electricity.

Mice: Alcohol on a cloth for the underside of the mouse. The remove the
ball and use alcohol on a cotton swab to clean the inside rollers. Tweezers
or a needle are good for carefully removing the dust caught at the sides of
the rollers.

Washing mouse pads and computers tables weekly help keep mice clean, but
when they become difficult to use they usually need a good cleaning.
Eventually they will break if you don't clean them.
