Happy Halloween!
Today I had a 2nd grade class come in to learn more about totem poles. I
had one magazine article (Cobblestone) I read to them and we read out of
the World Book Ency. too. We discovered totem poles can be seen in
Alaska, Vancouver, Seattle, and in museums in Chicago and New York.
Does anyone know of someone my students could e-mail questions to about
totem poles, carvers, symbols of totems... or is there a place on the web
we could explore?
