In addition to my job as a school media specialist, I work part time at a community college library. We are involved with an information literacy program, that is receiving grant funding. This project involves developing instructional plans to teach college students information and library skills. I'm looking for assistance in developing INSTRUCTIONAL PLANS FOR TEACHING PERIODICAL INDEXES. This would involve teaching general strategies for using periodical indexes for research, with both print resources like the Readers' Guide, and CD ROM resources such as ProQuest and News Bank. I'm looking for an instructional design (that is lesson plan) for teaching periodical indexes. Thank you for your help in advance. Sincerely, Mark Webster <mwebster@anderson.sc.fred.org> ---------------- 34.31.15N, 82.39.25E Media Specialist K-12 at Pendleton Junior High School, Pendleton, SC Also SERVE address: mark.webster@bbs.serve.org
