HIT: Autry's horse

Gene Autry's horse was named Champion.  About 60 people wrote to tell me
so.  Thiswas documented in three sources, *Current Biography*, *The
Filmgoer's Encyclopedia*, and *The Country Music Encyclopedia*.  By the
way, Roy Roger's horse was called Trigger and the Lone Ranger's horse was
called Silver.  Now I don't know who rode Scout.  One last bit of
information Gene Autry married Ina Mae Spivey in 1932, according to
*Current Biography* 1947 page 26. Thanks to everyone who replied.
