In doing inventory in our library to prepare for automation, I came across a book cataloged FIC Clemens entitled _Personal Recollections of Joan of Arc_. The title page attributed the book to Sieur Louis De Conte, copyright 1896. There were three copies, only one is left. How did Mark Twain/Samuel Clemens get into the picture? )I'm recataloging all the Clemenses to Twains, or I might have missed this.) I'm stumped and eager to find out what another LM_NETter has to say. Diane Oestreich *The art of teaching is the art Fullerton Union High School of assisting discovery.* 201 E.
