This is somewhat off the topic, but may be of interest to the group. I was visiting a media center a couple of months ago (at a year-round school - but that's another interesting subject), and I noticed that the media specialist had accumulated a collection of AAA Guidebooks, shelved somewhere in the 900s (not catalogued, but adjacent to similar resources). There was essentially an entire collection (20-30?) of these Guidebooks, and I imagine that they would be useful in many applications. They all describe local attractions, historical events, and similar information. I suspect that a local AAA office might be willing to donate a bunch of these to a school as they are replaced by newer versions (I believe they are updated annually or semi-annually), and they would make a decent addition to what most media centers offer. See you at AAA, Randall. On Thu, 28 Sep 1995, Robert Kirsch wrote: > Our high school's drivers' education department wants to include trip > planning in the student curriculum.
