SEC:quotes,studies re: advantages of technology

Our district's technology prep. committee expressed a need for two
types of information about future workplace success of students, resulting
from interaction with technology, especially computers, during K-12 years.

Specifically, the committee seeks:

1) "powerful" quotes, probably from business leaders, describing
    expected/desired competencies of high school graduates related to
    technology;

2)  titles (and locating info) of studies evaluating technology education
    programs, especially those with much student/computer interaction.


   We will be doing an ERIC search, and have a copy of the SCANS report,
   but welcome input from fellow information professionals. TIA.
