TECH: Follett update

Dear fellow users,
    I recently updated to Follett's v1.22 but am confused about one
thing:  why do the instructions say to do a full backup on new disks
instead of over-writing a previous full backup?  I presently have 3
sets of full backups that I rotate weekly between my home, the library,
and the school office.  Should I prepare then 3 new full backups and
erase all the old ones?  If anyone knows the why of this, please let me
know.  If not, I'll call Follett early Thursday, when hopefully the
wait won't be too long (I should have called last Thursday on the
special line they gave us, but I just didn't have the time and this
wasn't urgent, just perplexing.)  Thanks!
