Target: Central library VS Multiple Resource Centres ??

Hi all

I am a fourth year Teacher/Librarian student at UTS - Sydney, Australia.

I am currently researching library management - specifically the advantages
and disadvantages of having a large central school library as compared to
multiple subject oriented resource centres around the school.

If any one has any ideas or sources that they could recommend on this issue
I would love to hear about them.
