Re: Audio Books

I would like to have some feedback on audio books for school libraries.  Have
any of you in Middle and Senior High purchased audio books for your library or
do you think that this is a service that the students can get from the public
library?  What are the advantages and disadvantages of audio books?  I guess
one of my concerns is that the students will want to check out the auido books
and "listen" rather than check out the print copy and "read".  Is this a
shared concern or do I need to readjust my thinking?
