Internet connection

I keep reading how one or the other of you is providing school-wide
internet access on multiple computers.  That is what we want here.  I
have asked the person who helps us with our network and computers about
it, and he wants me to ask you all how you do it.  We have an ethernet
network with Macintosh computers.  What software/hardware/wiring/etc.
would be required to do it?
