Many thanks to the thirty + people who responded to my request of how to copy part of a web site and print it and how to determine the length of web site. Nearly all the answers were the same - use a Notepad or some kind of word processing package for highlighting, copying, pasting, saving or printing and to use Print Preview for determining the length of the document. Here is a hit of some of the techniques used.... Thanks to you all for responding. %%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%% Try highlighting the section of the page you want and then go to "edit" within Netscape and select copy. Minimize netscape and open your word processing application and paste it to that document. Leave both netscape and word processing apps open and you can continue to do this back and forth until finished. Did you know you can go quickly between applications by using the alt & tab keys until you get to the application you want?? It's a big time saver. Good luck. A question I can answer! Go to File and Choose Print Preview. This will show you how long the article is. Use the next page buttons at the top. You can also use the Zoom in button to get a closeup, so you can see what page the part you want is on. (Go to the bottom of the page to see the page number.) Then, when you click on print, it will say "From 1 to ______" Let's say you want to print pages 4,5, and 6. Click on the 1 and delete it. Type in 4. Then, go to the "to" box. Click on it, and when you get the "flasher", type in 6. Then, click on "ok" and it will print! It took me a while to figure this out, and I was printing 9 page articles for only 1 paragraph of information!! When your pointer turns to a magnifying glass, enlarge the page numbers to see how long it is, then just print the specific page or pages needed. Szeliga ehslib@spectra.net Union Endicott High School Endicott, NY 13760 %%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%% %%% Hi, I use Microsoft Word to print from Netscape. I highlight the part of the Netscape page I want to print, go to Edit, and then to Copy. Then I open a new Word document and using Word's Edit menu, I Paste what I had highlighted. I'm sure this would work with any other word processor. To get to the word processor easily either Alt-Tab if you are using 3.1 or gp to programs on 95 and open it. Then leave it open in case you find another thing you want to copy and paste.
