Ref: Trying to find a poem

I am looking for a poem that uses the words "Look into her
eyes..." and each line ends in "lies" except the last line which ends
in "lied"  Words such as "melancholy" and "lament" are used in the
poem.  It is about a man and a woman talking to each other.  I have
checked Grangers Index to Poetry and Poem Finder but cannot find it
there.  Does anyone recognize this as a poem or lyrics to a song?
