Since it is sooooo cold and many of us cannot get out, we are hoping that
some more of you good folks will help us out. Interestingly, so far
we've had as many request for a HIT as we've had responses. Thanks again
from the freezing south.

Subject: Query: Technology in the Library Media Center

We are LM grad students working on a class project. Our goal is to
investigate current and emerging uses of technology within the field of LM .
We have a number of questions we are seeking answers to. Hope some of
you good people can take time to answer them. We would love to hear from
some of you who aren't in the USA, to be able to compare some of the
similarities and differences. We will post a HIT when finished. Here goes.
******************************************************************************
1. How is technology changing education in the field?
2. How is technology being integrated into the LM portion of the
curriculum?
3. How are the roles of library media specialists/students changing as
a result of technology?
4. What trends do you see or foresee?
5. What technology have you found the most useful? Most problematic?
6. What issues related to technology do you find yourself dealing with?
7. Have you come across any barriers or misuses that you find significant?
8. Do you know of any innovative programs? If yes, where?
                THANKS MUCH YA'll
