 I have been toying with the idea of doing a simple daily announcements over
the intercom system, researched and read by the 4th graders at one of my
schools, and have been wondering about easy sources for a this day in history
or famous persons birthdays section. If you get any useful responses, please
forward to me.

School Library Media Activities Monthly does have a calender of some of the
above each month.
