By the beginning of next school year, my school district intends to have
all our elementary school libraries automated.  Within our district we
have two (2) schools that are small and the BofE has only approved part
time librarians at those two (2) schools.  I would like to hear from
LMNETers that have a similar situation.  How do you handle check-outs
when your librarian is only at school a few hours a day and students and
staff have access to the library on a full time basis?  Closing the
library when the librarian is not present is not an option.

Any other comments that you may have about an automated library with a
part time librarian would also be appreciated.   TIA
