We have successfully used Electronic Bookshelf for over 10 years to
motivate students to read. Our test scores have continually risen. We
have schoolwide incentives as well as classroom teacher incentives. We
have been successful with EBS becasue it is different from some other
reaidng programs. You customize what you want the passing score, the
number of questions in a quiz, etc. This is great for Junior high and
high school in particualr becasue no two students ever get the same quiz.
Eliminates trying to copy or memorize answers for friends. If you are
interested, I will be happy to send you a write up on our program. Also,
I have a list of questions that can be used in purchasing reading
motivation software. Sometimes from companies sales ptiches, it'
s hard to tell what you are getting.
