Two books I like are "The Kids' World Almanac of Records & Facts" by
Margo McLoone-Basta & Alice Siegel, St. Martin's Press, 1985 (paperback),
and "The Second Kids' World...." same authors, pub. 1987 (paperback).
These books have some historical dates & some funny dates in them, like
National Eat-A-Pickle Day.
