REF: Names of Navy ships

I received 8 responses to my query, but have been moving and
"disconnected" for a week and am just now getting caught up on e-mail so
haven't had time to follow through on any of the suggestions, but will
tell the boy who wanted to know to try *Jane's Fighting Ships* first and
if that doesn't work, we'll try some of the online resources mentioned.
