Hi, Sherri!
Your address was not "acceptable" to my server - whatever that may mean.
So I'm using the round-about way to get the info to you.
I received several reponses, and here is the nutshell version:
1.  contact the local newspaper, education division, and see what they have.
        (That's how we started, but their list is the one out of which our
top spellers made mincemeat.)
2. Contact the  Scripps Howard National Spelling Bee
                        P.O.Box 5380
                        Cincinnati, OH  45201
        Booklets are $0.75 each, and that reflects a 50% discount.
        (I believe this is teh one they use in the national spelling bee.)
3.  Get _The Reading Teacher's Book of Lists_, which has many useful lists
included graded spelling lists
        up to grade 12, spelling "demons" etc.
        (Sounds really promising, but no publisher, etc. was given.
Shouldn't be too hard to find.)
