GEN: How many Computers?

Greetings LM_NETters,

I was talking to my principle the other day about adding to the number of
computers in the library media center.  He asked me how many I would
need and I told him at least three more.  Currently the center has one
Mac that has my Internet connection, Hyperstudio, Clarisworks and the
ability to run the CD-ROMS that the students use in the Macintosh lab.  I
also have a 286 with an ancient edition of Golier's encyclopedia, and two
other 286s that contain the card catalog.  Thats it!

I know that much more is needed and was wondering what your libraries
look like in terms of computers.  How many would you like and what
programs or systems do you feel are essential.  If I get enough response
I will post a HIT to the entire group.

This group is one of the best resources that a school library media
information specialist could ask for.
