LM_NET MEMBERS  we need your expertise!

Colorado is considering writing legislation for fuinding for school, public
and academic libraries.  We would appreciate your funding formulas for state
funding and any guidelines your state follows for state funding of school
libraries. We heard that Oklahoma and Mississippi have state funding for
school libraries.  If there are any other states that have funding for public
school libraries, we would love to hear from you.

In addition, we heard that Mississippi requires all schools to have a school
library and a certified school media specialist.  If this is true, would you
please tell us how that occurred.
