-- [ From: Janice Spickler * EMC.Ver #2.10P ] -- Our K-8 school (350 students) has just installed a distance learning facility at one end of my media center. Through Picture-Tel, we are capable of videoconferencing with other schools with this equipment. We are not going to utilize the equipment at this point for instructional purposes, but for special projects. My first question...is there an adventurous media specialist with this type of equipment who would be interested in a small, entry-level project involving some literature or library theme? Perhaps a reader's theater exchange or a research project...it is so very new but obtained through a grant so I am excited about making use of it. My second question...is anyone aware of list-servs. web pages or other electronic or print sources that deal with videoconferencing? I'm hopeful of making a success of this.
