I used to have volunteers make slide shows from books and use the slide
shows in conjunction with the Talking Books.  At one time, we even
rigged the slide projector so that the students could "turn the
pages" using single-switch input devices.  It wasn't legal, but it
was a very successful experiment and my multiply handicapped
students enjoyed library time.
