We have been running a program for 16+ years called LITERARY CLUB (TM)
in which small groups of 3/4 and 5/6 graders come together with
parent-volunteer-leaders (with training by us) to conduct Lit Club
discussions.  We've used *tons* of books during that period...I've got a
web page going up...
