LM_NET: Library Media Networking
Has anyone had experience with the top-of-the-line Macintosh 9200 - with
the PC card installed?
I seek information and experiences regarding:
does the switch between platforms work as smoothly as hoped?
can one switch from one to the other and back easily and frequently?
speed of data delivery and applications loading?
security software - must one install separate software for each platform?
do they network smoothly?
are there any special features or options/upgrades to be sure to include?
are there problems to try to avoid, from the outset?
are there any disappointments?
have there been any surprises?
special desirable or standard capabilities beyond what we are used to in Macs?
are they worth the great expense?
would you purchase a 9200 again - or do you wish for more of them?
