In our K-6 faculty meeting today we had a very spirited discussion of the
appropriateness of an awards program at the elementary level.  At one
point all eyes focused on me and someone said "Can't you find out what
others on Your Internet connnection are doing?" Specifically,
1.  Do you have an awards program?

2  Are parents encouraged to attend?
3.  What kinds of awards are given - academic, citizenship, etc?
4. Are all students recognized or are just a few singled out?
I know it is late in the year for this type of querry, but maybe we can
get some info for next year.  TIA.
