Re: arrest for overdue books

There was a situation a few years ago in Franklin MA where parents were
arrested for their children's overdue books. I don't remember all the
details but evidentally all requests had been ignored, and the librarian
wanted to make a point. The families had the books as I remember and it
created quite a controversy. It has never been repeated. It was in all
the local papers at the time.
