Amy-The best books are Jan Buchanan's Flexible access library media programs (1991-Libraries unlimited) and Dobot's Beyond Flexible Scheduling: A workshop guide.(Hi Willow Research and Pub., 92) My copies are out and I will be using them. Four of Rome City School District's ten elementary schools have some form of flexible scheduling. Two of the six remaining non- flexers will desperrately need open ended scheduling with the addition of automation. I have a folder full of pertinent journal articles-if possible call me at 338-9114(w) or 336-0775(h).Convincing principals that this is the best plan for students is the key. I have a part time sabbatical concerned with this and assessment for the 96- 97 school year. You are welcome toi come and visit before the school year ends. CyndyHaley Library Office 112 E.
