On Feb. 29 Phyllis Sigmond (Phyllis@lcs.k12.wi.us) asked for "any info on Sybil Ludington of Connecticut during the American Revolution". There is an easy children's biography of Sybil Ludington who rode her horse all night to rouse the sleeping soldiers of her father's regiment and rally them against the British who had just burned Danbury. The book: _Sybil Rides for Independence_ by Drollene P. Brown, illus. Margot Apple. Whitman, 1985. 0-8075-7684-0 Joan jkim@borg.com Joan Kimball (jkim@borg.com) Clinton, NY Hart's Hill Elementary School Library Whitesboro, NY
