I received several responses to my request for information on "Library Literature Index" online...Many more replied with a "can you send me the info, too?". Here's a hit for all interested, and thanks to those who replied. --Suzanne ********************************************** Library Literature is availble online through H.W.Wilson as are all their indexes. Contact the H.W. Wilson company for information. ********************************************** As with most databases which are sold or leased for big bucks, they are not available free online. You can access most ot these databases through Dialog or BRS, but there is a fee. ********************************************** It's been a number of years since I used this tool but I think that it is a Wilson publication. Check with them. ********************************************** You can find it online in Wilsonline. Do you have access to the Wilson databases online? They offer them to schools at the same $15 rate as Dialog does. ********************************************** Library Literature is an H.W. Wilson Index. You can find it online from OCLC on EPIC and FirstSearch, OVID, and from Wilson itself. All are by subscription. It is also available as a cdrom from Wilson, OVID, and Silverplatter. It is also available in print and it's on some OPAC systems. Most public libraries will have the print version. ********************************************** Library Literature is not on line. It is only in print form. ********************************************** ************************* Suzanne Weinheimer, Library Media Specialist (for grades K-4) South Mountain School/Annex South Orange, NJ 07079 email: suewho321@delphi.com email: SMtnSchLib@aol.com *************************
