doesn't that make it kinda impossible to post hits? I'm a "hit'n run"
poster...not bothering to remove the addresses of the people who send me
responses. Also, some people send me public replies and some send them
privately knowing that a hit will be posted and not wanting to clutter
the list. I think posters of messages should append some sort of
statement about permission to repost....and then you'd have to worry
about people leaving that info on your message and honoring it when
they go to spread the info.
If you or anyone is really concerned about being quoted out of context or
has a sensitive position, i can't imagine saying _anything_ in public
that might be misconstrued or in private either...in email. I guess you
could always issue a denial if it came to that!
i m not being glib about your situation...but i don't see how it could be
avoided.
