TARGET: microfilm put on video or CD-ROM

I have reels of microfilm of old magazines: Harper's Weekly 1857-1900;
Nation 1899-1922, Time 1924-59, etc. The reader is bulky and difficult to
use. Does anyone know of a process to put this info on CD-ROM or
videotape? I suspect it would be cheaper to buy a new CD, but am
exploring possibilities. In my 9 years here, only 3 kids have used the
microfilm, but I hate to give up the resources. Any suggestions welcomed!
