Last summer you all helped me out with planning my course in Cataloging and
Classification and I thank you again.

Now I have a new one.  I will be teaching Bibiliography and Reference in
the media certification program in the spring. I have a pretty good handle
on the course content but students who took the class last year have
mentioned that the required text was a waste of money.  It was old and
irrelevant.  Any thoughts about a good text on reference service in the
school?  I am thinking about canning the text and looking  for periodicals
and other stuff.  I hate to have them buy something that they will not use.
Any thoughts?
