Sorry, here it is as requested:

Hi,
Got any old colorful neckties? I make a fat turkey body (circle of brown
paper) which I stuff with newspaper and tack to the board. Then I add legs
and wings and circle with a fan of the ends from old neckties laid side by
side (hope you can picture that). Then I add a neck and head. I like to
make the turkey cartoon-like. The necktie tail feathers are quite a hit.
The caption "Gobble up a Good Book."

How about this? DON'T BE A TURKEY
                 GOBBLE UP SOME GOOD BOOKS

My bulletin board - one of the tall breed - sports an oversize gobbler,
acorns, leaves, appropriate book jackets.

As one teacher remarked, I've gone from goblins to gobblers!

It is Native American Heritage Month, and National Geography Awareness
Week. One of my more popular November bulletin boards highlighted the
veterans on the faculty--with pictures of each one from his or her days
in uniform. The faculty members felt honored, and the students loved
seeing another side of their teachers.

Books with "Thanks" etc. in title.
Good ole "Fall" "cornucopia" etc.
