hearing impaired children

A third grade teacher has requested information for working with hearing
impaired children in a traditional classroom. Can anyone direct us to
materials that would provide strategies and techniques for working with
such children?

I also have a 7th grade son who has impaired hearing and have not gotten
much response from other teachers.
